Counter-trafficking Stakeholders Gather in Project Closing Meeting

On 22 December IOM hosted a meeting with stakeholders in the counter-trafficking domain to review the achievements of 2017 and look ahead at challenges to be dealt with in 2018.

The meeting, attended by representatives from the Ministry of Justice, law enforcement bodies, victim assistance bodies and the Labour Inspectorate as well as NGOs, marked the end of the project “Combating Trafficking in Persons in Georgia and Addressing the Demand Side of Trafficking”. This project was funded by the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the US Department of State.
