On 4 May Georgian government agencies responsible for migration management and representatives from 12 embassies of EU Member States and Switzerland met in the Public Service Hall in Tbilisi to discuss progress made in the implementation of the More for More project.
This meeting was the 9th in a series of project coordination meeting that IOM and ICMPD have been facilitating since the beginning of 2014. The opportunity was used to present comprehensive information on what has been achieved, thanks in particular to the intensive involvement of subject matter experts from many EU Member States. The meeting also focused on the achievement of obtaining visa-free travel for citizens of Georgia and what this means for Georgia’s opportunities for further integration with European institutions.
The current More for More project will end in July 2017.
